Family Promise Metrowest

The parishioners and school families of St. Bridget Parish have generously responded to the items needed by Family Promise Metrowest.  Thanks to everyone who took note of the flyers and updates in the parish bulletin, constant contact, and on the website!

Current needs are:

Paper hot or cold cups, paper plates, plastic utensils,

Dreft baby detergent, men’s deodorant and full-sized mouthwash

Looking for a different way to volunteer?  Office assistance on the weekends at the Natick site is needed.  Have a business that would like to hold a needed items drive?  Let Karen in the rectory office know (508-875-6009 or If you have professional skills in budgeting, being ready for employment, parenting skills, or dental/medical care also let us know.

Training for those who would volunteer in direct contact with families can take part in upcoming training at First Parish in Framingham on Dec. 1, Christ Lutheran in Natick on Dec. 17 or at First Parish in Framingham again on Feb. 2, Feb. 18, March 1, or March 17. Volunteering at the host house of worship (First Parish, Framingham) might include providing a meal, hosting a meal, provide breakfast, provide things for lunch, set up or break down guest bedrooms, or laundering bedding.

By now you should have received your ROCC Phase II letter in the mail. If you have not received one yet please contact the rectory. Please be as generous as your means allow!

Parish Mission

Brother Michael Moran, CP, will conduct a three night Parish Mission on October 12, 13, & 14. Brother Michael is a great preacher and a conductor of missions, far and wide. So… mark your calendars NOW! It’s good to set time aside and be in the Lord’s presence for these three days. Further information will be forthcoming!

All those who serve in ministry or who volunteer at St. Bridget Parish or School must take this one-time training if they have not already done so.  Materials are provided.  In order to receive credit for taking the training participants must attend and remain for the whole program.  Participants may not enter a session already in progress.

*Registration will be taken until September 28.  Materials are not guaranteed for those who do not register and therefore may not receive credit for taking the training.

Sign up for R.C.I.A Now!!!

(Right of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Our Parish RCIA Program will start up in September. It meets every Thursday evening from 7PM-8PM in the Parish Renewal Center. This program is for those who would like to explore the teachings of the Catholic Church with the intention of being baptized or officially received into the Church. If you know of someone who would be interested in this program, invite them to fill out the form below and return it to the Rectory. Jimmy Hall, director, will then contact them.  Be a genuine ‘evangelist’ in promoting this great program!

Friday Afternoon Bible Study

The next session begins September 11 at 2:15pm in the lower church meeting room.  The group will view the DVD series over several weeks by

Choir practice will resume its Tuesday evening rehearsals with Ann O’Brien starting September 8th at 7:15PM in the Upper Church.


“Sleigh Bells Ring, are you listenin’?”

The Christmas Festival Choir starts up this September. The first rehearsal will take place on Monday evening, September 14th at 7:30PM in the Lower Church. The Choir meets each Monday evening thereafter, unless there is a holiday. The concert dates are as follows: Saturday, December 12th at 7:30M and Sunday afternoon, December 13th at 3:00PM.

All are welcome to join this Festival Choir. However, in order to prepare materials, we need to know, in advance, the number of folks who will join us.
