Ministry
of Mothers Sharing...
gathers women
together to form a network of mutual spiritual support; provides
group experience of learning, praying, and ministering to each
other; introduces women to opportunities for personal and spiritual
growth in a faith sharing group; and increases communication skills
and the use of prayer rituals in the home.
The
Coordinator for Parish Ministries, Karen Mallozzi, invites
interested moms to preview this exciting program from the
Benedictine Sisters. If you are interested in attending and

Winter Book Discussion
Join us as we take a look at Flannery O’Connor’s
book, The Violent Bear It Away. We’ll explore the Southern
Gothic genre and how O’Connor uses it to emph asize Catholic
religious themes and practices. Local libraries should have copies
as well as various online retailers like amazon.com We will meet on
Feb. 16 at 7 pm in the downstairs rectory meeting room. Let

Healing the Grieving Heart
Support Group
A six week bereavement support group for anyone
grieving a loss through death. Education materials and healing
rituals will be provided at each session.

Parish Bereavement Ministry exists to support
parishioners who have lost loved ones through death by providing comfort
and consolation as well as practical assistance in planning a funeral.
St. Bridget Parish is looking for those who have learned to accommodate
their own grief, are good listeners, and are available and interested in
training for this important ministry.
