Monsignor Strahan

Monsignor Strahan was appointed Pastor of St. Bridget's Parish in 1983 by the late Cardinal Archbishop of Boston, Humberto Cardinal Medeiros. Prior to this appointment, Monsignor Strahan served on the faculty of St. John's Seminary College and Theologate for some 18 years during which he taught Liturgy, Church Music and Homiletics. He also directed the famous St. John's Seminary Choir. In addition to his present pastoral duties, he serves as an adjunct faculty member for Pope John XXIII Seminary for Delayed Vocations in Weston, Massachusetts. He continues to direct the Archdiocesan Papal Choir composed of some 35 voices, many of whom, with the original 300 voice choir, sang during the Mass celebrated by Pope John Paul II on the Boston Common in 1979. In April 1998 Monsignor Strahan received the honor of Prelate of Honor of His Holiness, thereby conferring upon him the title Monsignor. Monsignor Strahan serves on a number of archdiocesan boards and is presently the Vicar for the Framingham Vicariate.

Father Michael Harvey

Father Michael Harvey was appointed as the new Parochial Vicar for St.Bridget's Parish in 2004. He studied at Blessed John XXIII Seminary and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Boston in 1999

-1981-1986 Worked at St. Vincent Home-Fall River as a child care worker with D.S.S. and D.Y.S. children.

-1988-1995 worked as a UPS Driver.
-Received Masters of Divinity from Blessed John XXIII National Seminary and ordained a priest on May 15, 1999
-1999-2004 Parochial Vicar at St. Mary's Parish, Randolph.
-Fr. Harvey has 2 brothers and 2 sisters; 8 neices and 7 nephews.
-Favorite Saints-St. Michael, St. Augustine, St. John of the Cross, St. John Marie Vianney & St. Therese of Liseux.
