Scripture From Scratch Next Session
The next session of our "Scripture from Scratch" program will be held on Mon, Apr 14th at 7:30 PM in the school hall. Bring your participants manual.

Lectors & Eucharistic Ministers
If you will be away for part of the summer, please submit those days to the Rectory by 12 noon on May 5th so that you will not be scheduled for that time period.

Marriage Annulment Information
On Tue, Apr 22nd at 7 PM at St. Julia's Parish in Weston, a meeting will be held designed to offer basic information on Annulment and provide the opportunity to ask any questions.

Religious Ed. Grade 6-Confirmation
Registration Forms were mailed out the week of April 7. They are due back in the office by May 10.

Religious Education Registration - Sept
Wednesday Religious Education Registration for September is taking place now for all Grades KindergartenGrade Five. All registration forms were sent home with the students, please return the forms Mrs. Barbato.

Hospitality Committee Needs People
We are in need of 1 or 2 persons who would be interested in chairing this committee. This includes the monthly coffee and donuts following the 9:00 and 10:30 AM Masses.

Usher Needed for 7:30 Sunday Mass
We are still in need of an Usher for the 7:30 AM Sunday Mass. Anyone interested in helping with this important ministry is asked to contact Joe Repole at 508-879-6340.

Usher Needed for 9:00 Family Mass
If you can help with this important ministry, you would be put on the schedule approximately once per month. Anyone interested in helping is asked to contact Mary Chowdury at 508-879-1308.

National Vocation Retreat
Single Catholic Women (20-45 years old) are invited to come and explore religious life as lived by the Sisters of Notre Dame.

Bicentennial Pilgrimage, Quebec City
Plan to mark the Bicentennial of the Archdiocese of Boston by coming together in prayer and fellowship with pilgrims from across the Archdiocese and from throughout the world at this special event in June 2008.

Magnificat Pilgrimage of Hope

There will be coffee and doughnuts the first Sun of the month following the 9 AM and 10:30 AM masses in the school hall.

All items to be included in the Sunday Bulletin must be to the Rectory by Tue at 12 Noon.

Family Mass - 9:00 AM

Sacrificial Giving
Last weekends 5% tithing was $455.00 for
Boston Catholic Television. Amount Realized for the Second Collection for the Church Grounds & Maintenance Collection $4,311.49.
There will be a second collection Next weekend, may 10th & 11th For the seminaries. Thank You!

Forever Young At Heart Upcoming Events
GForever Young At Hear is hosting two upcoming events on May 14th IMAX Theater and May 19th Monthly Meeting.

Handing On The Light Of Christ Appeal 2008
Thank you to all supporters of the 2008 Catholic Appeal. Our parish has raised $92,920.00 from 267 households, reaching 71.8 percent of our parish goal of our parish goal of $129,500.00.

No Vacation Bible School This Year
Unfortunately, we will not be able to run a Vacation Bible School at St. Bridget's School this summer. The school building is having a new fire alarm system installed which will take most of the summer. We certainly aren't able to have our children there while the fire alarm system is being changed! We hope to see you for VBS 2009!

St. Bridget's School Golf Tournament
On May 12th, St. Bridget School will be hosting its eleventh annual Golf Tournament. Each year, in an effort to raise funds for needed improvements to the school.

St. Bridget's School is celebrating Fifty Years of Academic Excellence. Once again, St. Bridget School is participating in these two easy fundraising programs with all profits going to the school's Library for books and educational videos.

Green And Yellow Bin - Recycling
Have you noticed the new green and yellow bin in the parking lot? St. Bridget School is sponsoring an Abitibi Paper Retriever program.

Opportunity to Place An Ad
In Sep 2007, we changed over to a bulletin company to print our bulletins. One aspect of this is the opportunity for people in the St. Bridget Community and surrounding towns to place an ad on two bulletin pages.
